Philosophy
Art Ed is essential for supporting students creative, cognitive, and emotional development. Inclusion is a core value that guides my teaching, ensuring that every learner, regardless of ability or background, feels valued, supported, and able to express themselves. In the art classroom, diversity strengthens the learning experience and enriches the creative process.
In art class students learn to problem solve, communicate, and explore multiple perspectives using different mediums. Art encourages collaboration and community with shared projects, critiques, and classroom communication. By designing lessons and breaking barriers to participation, I aim to create a learning environment where all students are able to thrive and express themselves through art.
